If you’d like some company, come along and join us at WOOLLY WEDNESDAY, every other Wednesday from 2-4pm, at Stratford The Youth Hostel (Alveston). Check the newsletter on our home page for dates.
We enjoy knitting and crafting together, there’s tea, coffee and delicious cake to buy, and a lot of fun and laughter.
Learn a new skill
Don’t worry if you can’t knit or haven’t done any crafts before, there’s always someone who will teach you.
The BIG KNITTED CHRISTMAS TREE project.
An art installation which was displayed at St. James’ Church, Alveston during December 2023 and January 2024.
During 2023 knitted squares and decorations for a 5 metre (17 ft) Christmas tree. We hosted events and had a lot of woolly fun.
Woolly Wednesdays continue in 2024 and 2025, where we work on new projects.
