St Peter’s Church, Manor Road
St Peter’s has been on it’s Manor Road site since the 1930’s. The new building we now have was dedicated in 1988. The modern hexagonal space provides a versatile, warm and light facility, open for the whole community. It is used by many different groups throughout the week and on Sunday mornings becomes a centre for worship.
The congregation comes mostly from the immediate locality and share together in a straightforward service, with a warm welcome given to all. Our Christian faith is further enhanced during Advent and Lent when Bible Study groups give an opportunity to grow in understanding and commitment. From time to time we share meals and aim to show care and concern for our neighbours.
